| Deliverance | 24/5/08: Well we've been absent for some time but if you knew what we'd been doing then you would know why!!! Lets just say we've been very, very busy on a number of projects that will see the light of day before too long. Deliverance: Kris Krowe and Sin are up to something but we're not allowed to spill the beans just yet. What we know for sure is that - in addition to Sin's mega studio hidden away in the countryside - Krowe has now put together his own studio and that both of them are working on a number of projects. It also transpires that certain people have been ripping off the original Deliverance tracks - Krowe and Sin know who you are - oh dear!!! Krowe's only comment on this topic was "There's a line in Troopers of Death that went 'we're coming for you - for your soul' and those muthas are going to find out what that means." We suspect from that statement that the band will not be using lawyers to deal with this. Rumours reaching us mention: the master tapes of a long lost live recording having been discovered under very mysterious circumstances but now, apparently, back in their possession. the master tapes of what was going to be their 4th album have also been dug up from somewhere. weird but wonderful noises emanating from both studios. More than that we cannot say but we suspect there's going to be some big news before long. Virus: Coke McFinlay - lead guitarist and songwriter from the legendary Virus has resurfaced. From the wilds of Scotland he has reappeared in London; has put together a band; and has been having discussions with Virus' original manager. Once again our lips are sealed but we'll let you know when we have the full facts on his plans. 21/11/07: Deliverance are back in the press: The December issue of Metal Hammer (on sale from today) has a full page on the band: Check out page 122. 20/11/07: Deliverance: All 3 of the original albums - Devil's Meat; Evil Friendship; and The Book Of Lies are up for download and streaming. Theres going to be a lot happening so keep checking back here. |
